Services

The Piedmontese Association of the United States offers many services for those interested in working with the Piedmontese breed. We have several different membership options to better serve and fit the needs of our members and associates. We provide cattle registration services to both members and non-members of the association, and register Fullblood, Purebred and percentage cattle.

We also produce and distribute publications focusing on the Piedmontese breed and our organization. Our newsletter contains up to date information on the current happenings within PAUS, articles, advertising, and information important to breeders. We also produce a full-color brochure complete with information and photos of the Piedmontese breed; we also have three video tapes containing even more information that will demonstrate why Piedmontese is the leader in lean, tender, delicious beef.

Member Services

Whether you are a Piedmontese breeder, a livestock industry professional, or an individual who admires this wonderful breed; PAUS Membership can have several benefits for you. We offer several types of membership, including junior membership for children under the age of 18, as well as different membership options for adult members.

• All members receive our monthly publication: PAUS on the MOO-VE. Our newsletter features articles on Piedmontese cattle, helpful advice on livestock production and management, practical information on testing and registering cattle, member profiles, show results, and a calendar of upcoming events. Also included is our business directory and a classified advertisement section.
• All members receive the annual membership directory, which includes complete contact information for all current PAUS members throughout the United States and Canada.
• All members receive a yearly official PAUS membership card that includes your membership name, breeder number, and herd prefix. New members will receive a temporary membership certificate.
• All members are invited and encourage to participate in the annual Field Days and Membership meeting. Active and lifetime members in good standing have voting privileges and are eligible to run for a position on the Board of Directors.
• Active members also have the benefit of testing, registering, and transferring Piedmontese cattle at 50% off the normal rate.

The membership year runs January 1st through December 31st. Membership fees are due on January 1st, and must be received no later than February 15th. We welcome new members to join any time during the year, but renewal applications are due no later than February 15th of the membership year. Members who do not pay their renewal fees by the deadline will be considered delinquent and will not be included in that years membership directory. Members who renew their membership and pay their fees after the deadline will be assessed an additional $10 late fee.

• Active Membership - $100

  Active membership is available to those who are actively engaged in the breeding of registered Piedmontese cattle. It is available to individuals 18 years of age and older, partnerships, firms, and companies incorporated under the laws of the United States or any Territory of the United States.

• Associate Membership - $50

  Associate membership is available to those who wish to become a part of PAUS. Associate members are not eligible to vote or hold association offices, and pay non-member fees for cattle testing, registration and transfers. It is available to individuals 18 years of age and older, partnerships, firms, and companies.

• Junior Membership - $25

  Junior membership is available to individuals under the age of 18 who wish to become a part of PAUS. Junior members are not eligible to vote or to hold association offices; however, Junior members are allowed to test, register, and transfer animals the active membership rates.

• Lifetime Membership (New) - $1,000

  New Lifetime Membership fee is $1,000 payable in full at the time membership is applied for. Annual renewal fees will be assessed each year to help cover operating and publication expenses.

• Lifetime Membership (Renewal) - $50

  The Lifetime Membership Renewal fee is assessed on all lifetime
